The Career Services & Student Support Office for Students and Recent Graduates of NTUA organised an event on Wednesday, 4 March 2026, at the Zografou Polytechnic Campus, on the topic “Your Preparation for the Job Market”. The event was addressed to final-year students and recent graduates of the institution who are interested in entering the job market in the near future.
The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Administrative Affairs and Student Welfare, Professor Panagiotis Psarrakos.
The series of presentations was opened by Ms. Chrysanthi Georganta, Career Counsellor and co-founder of “Career Sign AMKE”, who highlighted diversity as an advantage in both personal and professional development. Through a presentation of the social model of disability, she addressed the concept of accessibility as a fundamental element of modern, high-quality design. Subsequently, Ms. Katianna Efstathiou, Career Counsellor at the NTUA Career Services & Student Support Office for Students and Recent Graduates, presented key issues that graduates must consider during their transition into the job market, while also offering practical advice on how to write an effective curriculum vitae.
This was followed by a presentation by Mr. Nikos Patselis, Career Management Expert and founder of “Career In Progress”, who presented strategies for creating and effectively building a strong professional profile on LinkedIn. Finally, Mr. Adrianos Karagiannis and Ms. Eleni Koutelida, from the Talent Team of EY Greece, analysed the ways in which companies use Artificial Intelligence in recruitment processes, as well as how candidates can leverage this knowledge to their advantage when entering the job market.
Students and graduates participated in the event, actively engaging in the discussion with interventions and questions directed at the speakers.
The event was held within the framework of the implementation of Sub-project 2 entitled “NTUA Career Services and Entrepreneurship Office” of the Action “Support Services for NTUA Students in their Integration into the Job Market”, with OPS 6018190 and NTUA ELKE code 68/1656, under the Operational Programme “HUMAN RESOURCES AND SOCIAL COHESION 2021-2027”, which is co-funded by the European Social Fund ESF and National Resources.
