Michalis Triantafyllou
- William I. Koch Professor of Marine Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
- School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering
I must go back to 1969, when we first entered NTUA — 110 students in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and naval architecture. I will always remember the creative environment that shaped a group of some of the most brilliant young people I had ever met, as well as the friendly and collaborative spirit we developed.
That environment shaped me and helped me successfully meet every challenge in my subsequent studies and professional career.
I will always remember the years at NTUA with great affection, and I will be forever grateful to those brilliant young people.
